A turn based strategy game with Pokemon sounds like a pretty cool idea but the concept here is flawed. It would have been a lot more fun if the Pokemon could use more than just one move. I love the idea of building your own badass army of Pokemon that isn't just six Pokemon you carry around with you, but it just wasn't well executed here IMO. Gets repetitive too if you use just one team, which is what I did. Still a decent game nonetheless, I beat it and most of the post game episdoes.
I DIG the art style in this game and all the emotions and expressions the people and mons make in a visual novel-esque sort of way.
Fun game and interesting but flawed concept overall. Seriously, giving the Pokemon more than just one move to use could have expanded the possibilities and WAY more fun. Guess the limitations of DS memory couldn't handle it.
