That went easier than expected.
>ChampPeterman OHKO’d Pidgeot and then Rhydon with Rockslide and Surf respectively. When Exeggutor came out, so did Elaine with the Spore. Extremely satisfying to kill that thing with Leech Life. Charizard came next, which meant the switch back to Peterman. He unfortunately switched directly into Fire Blast, and a Burn. Rock Slide was just shy of a kill, but did manage to flinch. I finished things off with Surf. At this point I wasn’t happy to see Alakazam, and tried switching to Elaine. Who tanked a Psychic and hit 4 HP. For some reason, rival decided Future Sight was the best course of action, allowing me to Spore. Leech Life got my HP back. The cycle of Full Restore -> Future Sight -> Spore -> Leech Life -> Repeat continued three times before it went down. Finally we reach Gyarados, I switched to MARC, who got a decent Thunderbolt off, but took enough damage from Thrash for another switch. Frank came in, hit Thunderbolt, and won me the run. Good shit.
It all was really fun. Will probably try to do this again in another gen, but my next run will be BDSP. Going to take a break for a day or two though.
>>48731549Sounds like this part was a much needed break from things. That Lucario sounds like it could have been dangerous though.
>>48732379A Golem this early is a nice touch, though it's a damn shame most of the Mid game Gyms are so hostile to it. Good to see Kricketune too.
>>48733331Do you mean the regular DS? I know melonDS is supposed to be good, but usually I don't have problems with Desmume. If you do mean 3DS, Citra is the only one I know.
>>48733955Absolute rip. I always want to see Drowzees succeed in these runs. At least Spike should have more longevity than Eric.
>>48734727F. Has got to be a weird feeling. Wattson strikes again.
>>48735991Damn, and you didn't have a save state? VBA can get weird with me too, but I've never had something that bad happen.
