Most Snap-familiar folks are aware of the notorious Pidgeot snatching Magikarp-- during the day. However, you can also ruin Magikarp's night as well, AND it's a better picture of Pidgeot.
As you enter the level, a Pidgeot will land in the field. Feed it with a fluffruit; this ensures it'll fly to the next area and wait in the tall grass there for more fluffruit.
Instead, rail his face with the fluffruit to piss off the bird. Pissed off bird will fly off, but worry not, you can still feed it. Simply now orb (or fluffruit, can't remember which, so do both) the Magikarp resting on the rock to your left. Keep looking at it. Make sure you're really looking at the poor thing as the bird comes to consume.
Pidgeot will snatch up Magikarp for a Magikarpet ride right to its doom, but it makes for a lovely few photos, and a lot easier as well. This will give you a great score for Pidgeot.
