Well, looking at the current state of the games I can have a slight idea of the things that you don't care about pokémon, and they are: the story and narrative, the characters, the exploration, the lore, the coherence, the continuity, in a way the pokémon itself, the graphics, the animations, the performance, the difficulty, the postgame, the price, being cheated on the face and a few more.
Seeing as how things are going I will assume you are a competitive player, if so, huh... congratulations, Game Freak has not yet destroyed this completely, I hope you enjoy your online experience and find new friends.
In my case I feel that Game Freak has been spitting in my face for over 6 years, and that the things I loved or thought had overwhelming potential have been abandoned or ignored.
Who knows, maybe in another universe TPC doesn't care only about money and we all get games that we love and that have the potential to mark us forever in a good way, instead of games that are just "fun" for many, but hollow at the core, just fuel to run the soulless machine that has become the pokémon franchise.
