>>40932400Game Freak isn't the core problem, you really think Masuda the guy who loves Psyduck and made sure he was in every game loved the idea of culling half of the Pokemon in the franchise including his favorite Pokemon? he even pointed out how much of a nightmare it was when they went through a similar situation during gen 3 and how he wanted to avoid that happening again. This is TPC's fault. They're the ones who have final say, they're the ones who demand yearly titles despite the fact Game Freak clearly can't handle the workload. While it's easy to blame Little Town Hero for why SwSh is so halfassed this would never be a problem in the first place if TPC didn't insist on asking for yearly titles to begin with.
THAT is why morale is low. It has nothing to do with fans getting upset and to imply the fans have that much power is laughable. They aren't satisfied with the final product either but theres nothing they can do about it. Just move on to the next game because the Pokemon train never stops.
