One of the things I actually liked about Diamond and Pearl over Platinum is that the final two Gym Leaders and every member of the Elite Four (Save Lucian) didn’t actually stick to a Monotype team. Even if this was only done because Game Freak fucked up the dex so badky, it actually made it so that the final trainers felt more competent, and it was a little harder to just spam one move to win.
If BDSP keeps the DP teams for Gyms and E4 I honestly would be happy (probably not getting the game anyway but still).
