>>58679390Looks according to my calculations that by using the lose 5 (3190), win 4 lose 1 (870+4060), lose 5, win 4 lose 1, lose 5 methods you end up with 19,430 stardust per day.
I usually use this method when the 4x stardust bonus is not active because over time your rating will go slowly down since you lose 13 of 25 per day. With the other method you lose 12 of 25 per day so your rating goes up over time.
That said, when trying to win five in a row for the bonus dust, if I lose a match I was trying to win then I will just lose the rest of that set to tank my rating enough to try again. Obviously on battle weeks/weekend you may have to use different strats.
Also like the other guy said, make sure to use your star pieces and do the 3x spotlight hours. Fast catch everything.
Also at rank 20 your end of season reward will be 90k stardust and remember to use a star piece because then it’s 135k. And star pieces can be used to increase PvP battle set stardust rewards also. So between the dust, rare candies and chance at legendaries, PvP can be worth the effort if you are willing to invest some time.
