He actually gets to meet your mom in the game and is on his best behavior, which was really cute to see. I think most parents would adore him because he doesn't take them for granted and he would be a wonderful son-in-law for them. My parents would probably like him more than they like me lol. He would definitely get the stamp of approval from them, though my mom would want him to cut his hair haha. Hard pass from me though, I love his hair too much.
He'd learn recipes from my mom and she would love doting on him as much as I do. She'd probably nag me for not cooking as much for him but he would insist that he prefers to do it and that would just make her like him even more. My dad would enjoy bonding with him over camping and outdoorsy stuff, as well as weird myths and stuff from old books. He'd teach him some practical hands-on skills or crafts and they share a love for dogs. I can see them tinkering away at something in the garage while chatting with the dogs curled up and taking a nap nearby. Both of my parents like to garden and grow fruits and veggies and he would definitely appreciate that too.
Any visit back home with end with us leaving with so much food, fresh veggies from the garden and whatever he and my mom ended up making together while we were there. He'd be so happy. Typing this all out made me realize how much he would actually fit right in haha. I love him...
