>Mourning takes down Raichu with Shadow Bone, but goes to ~1/4th hp himself>Tauros comes in next, switch to the Girls to tank the Earthquake, have to take another Double-Edge to U-turn into Kraken, now below Schooling hp>Take out Tauros with Superpower, but his Double-Edge does just over half HP, not enough to keep sweeping>Incineroar comes out, only one who can tank a Fire Z-Move is Chief, but I can't risk her being too damaged for the rest of the fight so I sacrifice The Girls>Switch into Chief, set up a few Dragon Dances while tanking Earthquakes>Thankfully fast enough to outspeed Noivern now so we can go for one final sweep also annoyingly have to slowly work through Hau's Full Restores because we just barely can't OHKO Leafeon. And that's it. The run is done. We did it, we won. Shoutout to Chief the Kommo-O and Skeleton the Klefki, they are undoubtedly the MVP's of this league. Klefki gets special accolades because he's been carrying this team on the back for the entire final stretch. Really got new appreciation for the little guy.
The difference in difficulty between XY and USUM is insane, I was not prepared for that at all. Definitely the most deaths I've had in a nuzlocke, even though I felt like I was actually very lucky this run with narrow survivals, silly AI decisions and clutch crits/status effects, and of course lucking out with a Zoroa against Ultra-Necrozma. Got kinda demoralised halfway through the game with how many deaths we had despite of that, but I'm glad we finished it. Losing a shiny in the Elite Four fucking sucks though, especially since it was such a dumb play from my part, but what can you do?
Think I'm gonna take a little break from nuzlocking for a while now though. I've been way too busy lately and my backlog of other games I want to play has been growing. Will still be lurking these threads though.
