They changed the site recently and one of the changes is that most pictures with humans involved only show up if you have an account and log in. I've just tried it and the picture with the boy is there.

Yes, under another artist name, and apparently he hasn't done anything for a while now. Beating stuff with rentals require impeccable strategy and luck.

In that game things worked like this: unevolved pokémon had near perfect movesets, while fully evolved ones had absolute shit sets. I still remember that rental Tyranitar's moveset had Mud Slap and Rock Throw.

Enemy trainers are using unevolved pokémon around the Lv. 25 range just before the 8th gym; and by the time you're almost done with Kanto the enemy trainers are using mostly unevolved Pokémon around the Lv. 35 range - you see things like Bird Trainers with 5 Lv. 35 Pidgey and a single Lv. 40 Fearow

You're supposed to backtrack and explore caves again whenever you get an HM

The vast majority of enemy trainers use Kanto pokémon only

Most cool Gen II are found when you're almost clearing Johto, are found only in Kanto or have bullshit finding rates (like Snubbul being found in only one route with a 1% chance to appear AND it has Roar), then there's Larvitar

Only one Fire/Thunder/Water/Leaf stone per playthough, and it's only gotten after Cerulean

MASSIVE level spike between Red and the rest of the game

Crystal fixed that along the elemental stone scarcity and bringing Thunderbolt and Ice Beam back, as well as adding Flamethrower. G/S TM list is absolutely kusoge desu.
