54 episodes was from the initial S25 TPCi press release in September. The number was later retracted from the press release, see >>52620997, but the insider says, as far as he knows, 54 is still the number internally. A day or two ago he said either it's right or the dub people are about to get blindsided by a shorter season than they were supposed to be paid for.

When will people get it through their heads that TPCi's number is correct. 136 isn't the end, 137 isn't the end, 138 won't be the end, etc. Look at the English dub numbering, count up to 54, and apply it to PM19's episode count. That's the end of the season.
