XY was a huge disappointment. Short as fuck. Easy as fuck. 70 new pokes and Fairy type was wasted potential that speaks a lot of GFs current creativity. Another "Chosen One" plot. I'm clearly too old for the hype of mega-evolutions. they're just stupid for a multitude of reasons I don't care about going into here.
I can't seem to give a fuck about ORAS. They look like 3D remakes of games I played 10 years ago. Oh, and now I can look forward to a different designed swampert and it has I dunno. different stats or something. who cares.
Also now that I have a full time job, I'm starting to see how money grubbing this franchise is. Releasing 2 indentical versions at once, then a "true version" a year later is utterly despicable business practice. It pisses me off by saying "Oh, it's ok X is shit cuz version Z will have more." No, I paid $40 for X. That's like putting out a paid beta as an official game.
I haven't had a positive thought regarding this series in months. I hope you all enjoy ORAS. It will be the first iteration of pokemon I will not purchase.
