thinking about progression. i mapped out the locations of the 4 "big' cities [basically the capitol of each country]. most of them are towards the south but i guess it makes sense due to the north being obviously colder. i'm thinking some sort of 'loop' might work line sinnoh has as far as the main landmass goes, so that the game isn't too linear and so the region feels more integrated. i also think one of the islands [either iceland or the aland islands off the coast of not-finland] could be a good location for the pokemon league.
also was thinking about a potential location for the starting town in the little inlet. if people want, i can start to work on a sprite map similar to the ones in hgss, but i don't want to do too much on my own without outside input
