bad guys turning dudes to stone, partner being mew, going to hell, the tree causing the evolutions is real foggy to me years later and I was intending on playing Super again once i'm done with replaying Gates.
I feel like they focused way too hard on building up the Serene Village gang only to dumpster them and the plot suffered due to there being less care and focus being put on all of the world-ending stuff, if that makes sense at all. Makes me wish they either started at Lively Town or only stuck to Serene Village.
