>“Audino, please not now.” The Audino wasn`t for battles, it was more of a support pokemon. Almost like a coach really. It kept his other pokemon healed, organized his belongings, and cheered from the sidelines. He wondered if it knew the outcome of the battle. There were no TVs in the locker room, so based on its upbeat attitude, it was not aware. Calem sat down on the bench, wondering how to tell it the news. The Audino quickly threw the towel around Calem’s shoulders and held up the water bottle to his face. “Stop this, I don’t deserve this.”
>“Audino?” The Audino was still all smiles. It knew Calem was a good trainer at heart. His negativity was his real problem. It always tried to keep him on the brighter sides of things. Unfortunately, sometimes, it went overboard. This was a rough battle to lose, having come this far. Stress can change a person, as Hilbert had learned earlier.
>“Ok stop.” He said again, as Audino continued hustling over him. It took his pokeballs and placed them in the locker room healing station. It wiped the sweat off his brow. “I said stop it…” The pudge pokemon still continued smiling, almost like it was mocking him for his loss. Why wouldn’t the stupid fat thing take his orders? “I said fucking stop!” He yelled, and swiftly back slapped Audino across the face, knocking it down to the floor of the locker room. There was a dead silence for a moment.
>The Audino picked itself up off the floor. Its small hand touched its cheek softly, twitching slightly in pain. “Au-Audino…” Tears started welling in its eyes. However, Calem didn`t seem too upset over what he had just done. In fact, there was something very satisfying about striking the pokemon.
