I like them. My main objection is with the typing of the final evos. Love their abilities. The final evos are all kind of weird, but cool. They got real creative this gen which ended up being surprising cool and useful
I think it's fair to say we pretty much all wanted a Psychic FireFox. And we wanted that type triangle of Fighting/Psychic/Dark. I'm glad they actually cared to listen to us and give us what we wanted finally! But I think what myself and other fans really wanted was for the Grass one to get Dark-type and the Water to get Fighting.That way they all have a type strength and weakness against the other. But I guess that's just tradition, huh that one beats the other. and that way your rival has type advantage over you (although in one gen the Grass type could take on the Fire or the Water)
