>>53238012Yes, that would be quite weird. Its dating someone you own. Personally, I'd get rid of the Pokeball as you shouldn't own your girlfriend or boyfriend in any capacity. That sets a creepy power dynamic that's ripe for abuse and can't be pushed aside.
If they want their own Pokeball for themselves, they can capture themselves with a Pokeball they buy at a store or find outside. But they'd own themselves at that point - so nothing wrong with that! As far as I'm concerned that's basically them being as free as they could be.
