How many ball types are there in each gen?
>1: 5>2: 13>3: 20>4-6: 23 (excluding Cherish, Park and Dream)>7: 24I could see a genuine, Nuzlocke-esque challenge from limiting ball usage. You get one throw of each ball type, and that's it. When you run out, that's your team. Strategize and decide if you really want to use your Ultra Ball on coinflip odds catching that pseudo, or if you should play it safe and grab something weaker but more likely to stay in the ball. Dodge the fighting the early gym with only two Pokemon, or preserve your balls for something more useful two routes ahead?
(Gen 1 would be significantly harder, but could be balanced by giving yourself say, three uses of each relevant ball type.)
