the timer's been broken since the start, I'd say at most 15-20 hours. Despite my anger at all of the weird plot things and KANTOOOOO I had a lot of fun with this. the four abilities thing was fun to mess around with and as long as you aren't playing at night the pokemon variety is pretty good. you can also get good pokemon and items early on, like the kubfu and aggronnite. I also didn't find a pokemon that wasn't useful in some way, even the gastrodon had an innate that turned all normal type moves to ground, which made things like secret power and body slam funny. You also get a metric ton of customization choices at the start for replayability. I only have two big problems with this, one is a lack of documentation and in-game hints for certain things, like the dragon breath and getting the scrolls for kubfu, how to wake up the snorlax, how to get any of the galarian pokemon, etc. The other is weird stat bloat and damage, but that might be because this is on by default. I never really played legends so I didn't know if this was bad or not, was on by default. When I eventually replay this I'll turn this off and see how much it changes things. I would give this a 7.5, it spiced up battles in a chaotic way and has many options for replayability, good dex and weird plot choices, just wish I could play as brendan and not red.
