>>52229431You have to have it following you with ZR not with R/Let's Go autobattling and it has to be 1000 steps in one go, you can't let it go back in its ball or the steps will reset. I literally walked (not ran, walked) for the first 8 hours of the game with my goddamn shitbeetle trying to get it to evolve, but I kept outpacing it and it kept returning to its ball and I didn't realize that reset everything. Then I just ran in a circle for 5 minutes and crammed a rare candy down its throat and it evolved.
