>>42110742No, the problem wasn't that it was complex, It was that the story was poorly implemented into the game. I don't care how good your story is I don't want to have to sit through 5 minutes of mashing the X button just to play the game. It also doesn't help that alot of the game is walking in a straight line. RBY works because it has a story but it's straightforward, simple and nothing too grandiose because it put the GAME first and the story after which is how games should be, not the other way around.
