If so, though, then that's wrong. We were shown with Bill that he combined his DNA with a Pokemon's entirely by accident, and was able to get a literal 10-year old to undo the process with the simple push of a button. Pokemon gene manipulation is way advanced compared to real life. I mean, they can even bring back fossils to life.
