That's quite normal in pokemon, but: no megaevolution plotline (a tower and a fight is not enough); champion and gym leaders are not enough developed (unlike gen5); az' story is like an unexploded bomb that sleeps still today: an immortal giant mass-murderer king that does... Nothing? excpet being taken behind bars; rivals dont have characters evolution except calem/serena; xerneas and yveltal, litterally the "life" and "death" pokemon are just batteries inside a machine. Now, why are xy good games for you?
