>>52752444Given how earlier it appeared in the anime (2004, iirc) that would track. There wasn't any sign of a pre-evo for Snorlax in Spaceworld or any of the Gen 2 beta stuff we saw, but I wouldn't be surprised if a Snorlax pre-evo was conceptualized late into Gen 3's development.
Looking through, there's quite a lot of dex entries which don't correspond to known Pokémon. I wonder if a build does exist somewhere with sprites (finished or placeholder) of them.
