im a year-long Casual Pokémon gamer, means that i've played since Pkmn Red and still playing with B/W2 but never that core-ish - yeah, you could call me a newfag. I was just a collector, trying to fill up my pokedex and trained a few pokemon here and there to level 100 but never managed to go further and try to improve by DV & EV training and not really know how it works. its just to complex for me. But i'd like to step into this 'deeper gameplay' and this is where you could help me. Theres my favourite pokemon,Galvantula and i already have a level 1 Joltik ready to go - but what is step 1? how do i start using the EV & DV etc.? yeah, there are online encyclopedias about this full of formulas and mathematic, but i just want to have it explained simple, what should i do?
