>>37429904Now compare Sun & Moon in Citra in HD. Find a scene (not out of engine cutscene) in Let's Go where the player isn't smiling. Nice job ignoring the fact it reuses Sun & Moon motions, has jaggy shadows, THE MAIN MENU LAGS in handheld mode, Team Rocket "blasts off" by running the opposite way, Meowth doesn't talk despite having text boxes appear, motion controls are forced while docked, and characters have to run straight, stop, turn, and run again before it fades to black to despawn. Did you know that instead of wrapping down to the next line of a text box each sentence is manually coded to drop down instead? Did you know that code for removed Pokemon exists for their types/abilities/stats which is why we know Melmetal has Iron Fist? Not to mention Stealth Rock is in the game without a way to remove it so everyone sets it first turn. Bill Trinen said during a Treehouse that Exp Share could be turned off, but even when hacked into the game to select the turn off option it doesn't actually work, so he was purposefully misinformed similar to how early reviews of ORAS weren't allowed to talk about no Frontier or Game Freak had it working but probably broke something during that small window before release and removed it. Both games' encounter tables (the only thing seperating 1 game split into 2) exist in each game and any amateur can edit one within minutes. Imagine being able to buy just one copy of this side project for $40 and get a Mew for a limited time over wifi for free, but no, people will buy both versions for $120 and $50 Plastic Ball Plus ($170 total + tip) that has 1 Mew downloaded into it. On topic of version exclusives, Partner Eevee is the only thing between both games to heal status since Heal Bell, Aromatherapy, and abilities are removed.
But buy Let's Go instead of Smash. Reusing character models to focus on returning everyone, adding characters, refining gameplay mechanics for competitive, and including a campaign mode is incredibly lazy.
