After hitting rank 7 I'm back with some results.
At rank 3 I threw 35 games. After that I won 10 and thew the rest every day.
I still went up pretty quickly when I won, but the whole time I fought easy games. I saw shit like golduck and rapidash at rank 6.
Now I'm rank 7 with <1100 ranking, and obviously I need to win more to keep going up. But right now fights are still very easy and I breeze through 5/5.
So if someone hated pvp, wasn't getting to 10 and just wanted to farm rufflets or something, this seems like not a bad way to go about it.
I'm not sure if win 10/lose 25 is necessary, I just didn't want to spend more time on pvp so I found that a good balance.
