They can't abuse weather due the fact that both Water and Fire Pokemon can tear them apart in both, GF won't stop this 'slow, bulky grass type' meme, Grass is resisted by almost half the type chart and has no good resists outside of ground, which doesn't mean anything because almost all the good grass types are Grass/Poison and monograss Pokemon are almost universally garbage, as shown in the past 3 gens.
