the -Atk/-SpAtk natures are useful for raising a useful stat while lowering an unused attacking stat (preferably attack because higher attack means more damage taken from confusion/foul play), the -Spe natures are useful for pokemon that are too slow for speed to matter anyways, the -Def/-SpD natures (that don't lower the other defensive stat) are useful for mixed attackers that don't want their offenses lowered
but what the hell is the point of lowering 1 defense to raise another?
