The highly exaggerated cutscene length is a small price to pay for NPC's that actually have Pokemon with good movesets, hexaperfect IV's, good natures and superior AI decision making as well as actual boss monsters which are threatening. Also the added cherry on top bonus is we actually have good Pokemon designs again after the shitshow that was gen 5 introducing a bunch of ugly deviant art tier trash that looks like they hired some toddlers to draw lmao.
