I should probably talk about how I handled each of the important battles; in my last post, I was at Cinnabar. I begin there:

Brobdingag spammed Surf on everything

Woodstock would have spammed SolarBeam on everything, but died, so Brobdingag spammed Blizzard instead.
I fed Claudius 8 rare candies I saved up.

Lillienthal took out the Pidgeot but was crit by the Alakazam. Brobdingag used Ice Beam , Hyper Beam, and Blizzard on everything after.

Brobdingag used Surf!

Everyone fell asleep. Play-doh transformed into a Gengar and used Hypnosis on the Gengar to buy time so Claudius could wake up.

(and Claudius took out some Dragonair with Thunder). I forgot to heal them before entering Blue's Room. A tragic mistake...

Alakazam: Hyper-Beamed
Exeggutor: Blizzard missed. Brobdingag was Hypnosis'ed. Laviosier burned it to death with Flamethrower.
Blastoise: Claudius was sent out, but was still in the yellow. It Thundered for a while and Blue spammed some FullRestore, but in the end Claudius was killed by a Hydro Pump.
I tried to wake up Brobdingag but I failed. It was just Laviosier and the Blastoise.
