>>29626691A few years ago I had written an basic outline for a hack. The region was a full on Best Korea level dictatorship ruled by the Champion as the ultimate authority. The gym leaders were local leaders with the gyms serving as training centres for his army instead of whatever the fuck they're meant to be in canon. Player worked for the token underground resistance and starts by going undercover to the gyms for training. The rest of the plot was basically kidnapping gym leaders and other important authority figures, dealing backstabbing within the resistance, sabotaging the regime's operations, secretly recruiting for the resistance, the usual stuff. I realized that the whole thing was dumb and generic enough to be copy pasted to any fictional universe. I'd still like for someone to try something similar though.
