>>28733475really? i played through ruby recently for the second time (on gba, hadn't played it or ORAS since release), and i beat the game with not one but two wailords on my team. they had a distribution of HMs, water spout, and rest. not competitive by any means, but its still a 500 bst pokemon with a lot of HP (and admittedly not much else).
again, i really like wailord, so i'm not recommending you do what i did, but it went pretty well.
