Expect 51 new Pokemon. At first it was 49, but one of the bosses says 4 is bad luck, so for good fortune two cut pokemon were given room. They do not feel mystical at first, so they have a few out of place details.

Sequel game is scheduled for 2021 release. 2020 will have an enhanced Let's GO Pikachu for new tech compatibility, cannot say keyword but it changes your perspective. No new pokemon but the experience is worth it.
Sword Shield sequel is also compatible with new technology. 5 pokemon will debut with this game.
