Is not about going there and testing, is the fact that they have to act so smug about being there, and the only benefit they get is for them. You clearly be a force of change or even a mentor for someone there the moment you realize they can't into basic stuff such as making double or predicting one, when to set hazards, predicting movesets based on team preview, etc. They could just say "hey bro I wanna test this out, care to help me? I'll give you some advice in exchange". But how can you actually test it if you know people down there are not going to react to your strats the same way someone up there?
It's sheer egocentrism.
