B2W2 had the quintessential JRPG annoyances by having NPCs always talk to you and force you to partake in side content in the middle of the main game. Emerald didn't force you to go to contests, battle tents, or the frontier, and Platinum didn't force you to do contests, dress ups, frontier or pal park. But B2W2 forced the PWT, Pokestar studios, AND Join Avenue on the player. That crap was annoying. I also don't get how Unova fans can praise B2W2 over BW. Sure, B2W2 had objectively more conetent, but it also took away the ability to get a lot of good Unova pokemon while giving out mostly mediocre pre-gen 5 pokemon.
