They are trying to train fans out of wanting the personality of the OS so that the bland feel-good toy commercial animations they try to peddle out will stop failing. The animation side of Pokemon has been on a steady decline in ratings, viewership, and sales since Advanced Generation and TCPi would rather try to condition their viewers to like the crap they've peddled post-Shudo instead of admitting that everyone wants what the original series did and the moves they've made towards strict standards and strict formulas have killed an entire pillar of Pokemon, specifically the one that brought it to worldwide popularity in the first place.
