Kanto - Rattata, Pidgey, Mankey, Nidoran, Caterpie, Weedle, Spearow, and Pikachu.
Johto - Sentret, Rattata, Hoothoot, Pidgey, Geodude, Weedle/Caterpie, Spinarak, Ledyba, Bellsprout, and Zubat.
Hoenn - Zigzagoon, Poochyena, Wurmple, Wingull, Taillow, Shroomish, Lotad/Seedot, Ralts, Surskit, Marill, Whismur, Skitty, and Nincada.
Sinnoh - Budew, Bidoof, Starly, Kricketot, Shinx, Abra, Zubat.
Compare that to:
Unova - Patrat, Purrloin, Lillipup, and Pansage/sear/pour (not even wild).
That's right, you can't even get Audino or Munna until after you beat Cilan/Chili/Cress. It's pretty fucking bad, and that's coming from a guy who likes Gen 5 the most out of all of them.
