Not sure what happened but I got sucked into the game and I haven't stopped playing since. I think what makes it different for us compared to kids today is that since we had crappy graphics, imagination was a monumental part of the experience. On the other hand, they have most of the imagination handed to them on a platter.
I'm not sure why but the hype got ORAS has been progressively deflated since they were announced and I feel like these might be my last games. X and Y were just horrible and ORAS look to be the same, half assed effort. I really want to believe that GF is going to get out of the rut and make better games.
