Literally every single match boils down to sweeping with your boosted big boi or getting reverse sweeped by a ditto that switched in on your boosted big boi. It's a completely degenerate minigame. Excadrill is a beast because his max moves boost both def and sp.def, combined with his natural bulk it's nigh impossible to revenge kill. Gyarados, similar story. Flying boosts his speed, moxie boosts attack and you're off to the races.
Ditto at 30% tells you everything you need to know, not to mention all those other extremely high usage percentages show you just how centralised the meta is.
