So you stand correct AS OF NOW, but if breeding/TM/PVP ever gets introduced you will regret the choice eventually as you wasted dust/candies on inferior mons (as cp only matters because decides the prder in gyms) while high Iv% mons will be worth even more than now.
Besides, you used Chardizard as an example, so you probably dont know what you are doing.
