>>43880086You ever been to a smash tourney? Its like that crowd but smaller. Real talk I love VGC and live events, but a fair portion of them, let us just say the average space between players at tables gives you a good read on their hygine. Wear deo and shower before these, like I said think of Smash levels.
I dont pay attention to gossip and frankly I dont hang out with enough VGC players outside of my circle to hear anything. Most people are cordial and friendly but a lot of folks who seem more introverted. Once in a while youll find characters but they are so few.
>sad and patheticGuy raged at losing to me, missed a Rock Slide or something and I got him with Perish Song timer. Dude did not just slam his Switch on the table, he scooted his chair back and slammed that fucker on the floor before shouting "FUCKING BULLSHIT!" and going to the bathroom. His friend came, picked up the Switch, and apologized. I fought the same guy in a PC the month after and he was cool, guess he was just tempermental.
That same tourney I was in the finals with a dude hopped up on Monster energy. He had stood up from his seat, undocked joycons in hand (illegal for a tournament FYI, but I didnt have the heart to call him out and be a dick) and was dancing like Hitmontop's idle animation.
Most exciting is a few which I'll say in another posts
