>>43236861Unlike most contrarians here, i think themes are completely fine, but just like any other design, they can screw them up. Just because they have a theme doesn't make them good, but it doesn't make them bad either. That being said, i don't think there's that many pokemon actually benefit from a theme or that use said theme perfectly, but when they do they make for some fantastic designs, so you could say i'm a bit 50/50 on them
