One thing I can give to the Insurgence team is that they saw early on that there "mature" plot won't be at all as great as they thought it would be, so they made the entire Light/Dark version. Which should honestly be implemented in more fangames, put your fanfic into one version and a more "classic" version in another and you please everyone.
Still, this game is no way near as terrible as the edgefest that is Reborn, people here can shit on it all they want, but really I'll take this over T3RR4 and "nothing personal, kid" any day (ep17 only made me hate the game's story even more).
