>>42033371I actually think there's something to be said for being able to aim for wild pokemon in the Overworld. If I were you, I'd just flip a coin each time. Heads, you go for something you choose in the overworld, tails, do a random grass encounter. Keeps things random without sacrificing the ability to catch the overworld mons, which are on a different encounter spawn list.
