>>13501177Clyde notices that your concealed hand feels more hard than usual, but doesn't verbally question it.
"On three." you say. He nods, and the countdown is on as Rosa and Natalie look on in suspense, neither sure who the victor is going to be.
Both of yours heads bob each time a second counts down, it feels like an eternity.
"Three."
"Two."
"One."
Before he can even start wrestling, you send Clyde slamming face-first into the ground, just like that. No remorse or regret, shocking everyone, even him!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAHEPw4J5JE"GAH! Fuck! How did you do that?!"
There's no point in trying to hide it anymore.
You undo the bandages, remove the eyepatch, and let them all glare at the new you. A robotic arm, and an eye crafted to perfectly match the other one, yet also artificial.
It's no surprise that they all lose their shit, "WHAT THE HELL?! Are you a freaking robot now?!" asks Clyde after he gets up, face scuffed with dirt.
"Whoaaaaaa.....So so cool!~" Natalie runs up to you, getting short little giggles out of touching the new arm. Rosa on the other hand, is more skeptical of it, "Nate....What did I make you promise me?"
"That I'd be alright?"
"You're missing an arm." she says rather disapprovingly.
"It's still there! It's just different now, it can also shoot lasers, y'know. That's something you've always wanted, isn't it?"
"Eh...I don't know..."
She's tougher to appease these days than before, maybe she really is paranoid about the thought of you being gone. In a sense, you're physically broken now, not too far different from the horrors she witnessed as a child, being raised by a father who loathed her for turning her mother from a bright and intelligent woman to nothing but a scared little hermit constantly playing with a paddleball. You could have been killed off just like that if whatever stupid god hadn't decided to let you live.
