Go into Pokemon Sword/Shield with virgin eyes and experience a pokemon game like when you were a kid. I did this for Black/White through Sun/Moon. Each time was an amazing experience, not having ANY idea what could be in the tall grass ahead of you and what your starter evolves into.
The box legendaries, a few route 1 mons, and the starters will be spoiled for you no matter what. But the rest could be a wonderful surprise if you avoid the news.
