>>44242309Ever since I picked him in SMD, and got him again in MD DX, I just accepted it. Cyndaquil seems like a very introverted Pokemon, and I can relate to it on that regard. Looks kinda funky until you slowly grow biased, which is how I imagine most of my friendships happened. Fire types tend to be associated with being very passionate, which I find myself for artwork when I get past artist block. But I'm happy with that. So, overall, I'd like to think that Cyndaquil is a nice fit.
