I understand trimming trash moves like Growl, Leer, Tail Whip, etc. However removing staple setups like Dragon Dance, Swords Dance, Shell Smash while keeping other setups like Calm Mind, Quiver Dance and Nasty Plot makes no absolute sense at all.

Grass Pokemon got shafted again for no reason, with their most reliable special move being Mega Drain.

Stealth Rock is there but there's no move to remove SR. There is absolutely no rhyme and reason to this movelist simplification and it is really frustrating because it could have been actually decent if they put some thoughts into it
