also, from a thread perspective, I think the seething caused by shitposters whining that I'm not using the untiered cactus shitmon with 4 total fans throughout history would be far less annoying than the seething from shitposters whining about me being shit at the game while being handicapped to have an effective 5 party slots due to getting quads with a maractus in my party
so, within the reasons above (not killing my fun just because I burnt 0.3% of the bump limit trying to get funny repeating numbers, not killing lurker interest via getting walled by more things than I would have been walled by without forced maractus, and getting to enjoy the longer term benefits of not making maractus a permanent party member) I think there's sufficient reason to justify not using this shitmon after this section until someone decides to troll me when it's time to build a new team
